From demand to delivered products.

Humbit is the digital infrastructure connecting U.S. supply with African demand. It links products, transportation, financing and manufacturing opportunities to accelerate trade and industrial growth.

We create demand for U.S. manufacturers in Africa and handle everything needed to turn it into delivered products: trade development, financing, logistics and local market access.

For manufacturers and shippers

Reliable transportation capacity, trade partners and market intelligence to grow from U.S. production into African markets.

For carriers

Consistent freight from direct shippers, exporters and manufacturers. Less dependence on fragmented broker relationships, more recurring lanes.

Our long-term vision

To become the operating system for U.S.–Africa commerce: discover demand, move goods, access financing and build industrial capacity.

Bringing the American store to Africa.

Think of an African Safeway or Home Depot: the everyday goods people expect on the shelf, from building materials and hardware to household products. We start by supplying them from U.S. manufacturers.

As volumes prove demand, we finance local production, so the same goods are increasingly made in Africa.

Concept: a Sal-O store as it would look in Africa.

Everything required, under one platform.

Each layer builds on the one before it, from immediate trade revenue to local manufacturing.

1. Humbit Trade

Supplier discovery, product sourcing, RFQ management, export coordination, freight booking, customs support and buyer verification.

2. Humbit Finance

Purchase order, supplier, inventory, distributor and receivables financing, plus letters of credit, with partner lenders funding verified deals.

3. Humbit Equipment

Food processing, packaging, agricultural and construction machinery through leasing, lease-to-own and vendor financing.

4. Humbit Industrialization

Industrialization using American goods and machinery.

Every import category becomes a manufacturing feasibility study: paint, PVC pipe, roofing, packaging, furniture and more.

How financing works

We structure financing in layers, each tied to contracts, collateral and sales cash flow.

  • Imported goods: inventory finance, letters of credit and receivables-based trade finance to pay U.S. suppliers and bridge shipment to payment.
  • Manufacturing equipment: equipment loans, leases, or export-credit-supported transactions for U.S.-made machinery.
  • Plants and rollout: project or blended finance for factories, packaging lines, utilities and site development.

From request to order in about ten days

Large orders move by request for quote (RFQ), not shopping cart. Example: a Ghana distributor needs two containers of PVC pipe delivered to Tema.

Day 1Buyer submits RFQ
Day 2RFQ sent to suppliers
Day 3Suppliers respond
Day 4Freight partner quotes shipping
Day 5Buyer receives proposal
Day 10Order placed

Freight we handle.

We coordinate U.S. freight moving toward export gateways and African markets, for manufacturers and direct shippers.

Commodities

Building materials, hardware, plumbing and electrical products, industrial supplies, safety equipment, agricultural equipment and consumer packaged goods.

Equipment types

Dry van, flatbed, refrigerated, box truck, and specialized or heavy haul for machinery and industrial equipment.

Services

Export coordination, freight booking, customs support, ocean freight quotes and warehousing partners.

Why manufacturers work with Humbit.

  • One partner, full journey. Demand, financing, freight and market access in one place.
  • Direct buyers. We develop and verify African distributors and importers for you.
  • Vetted carriers. Consistent capacity from carriers we manage, so you deal with one contact.
  • Clear communication. Quotes, timelines and shipping terms (FOB, CIF) laid out up front.

Onboarding and compliance

We are currently completing our FMCSA broker authority, and freight brokerage services will begin once it is active. Once approved, we will provide our authority, surety bond or trust information, insurance documentation, W-9 and references on request, and work within your vendor approval and credit-check process.

About Carlamichael Corporation.

Humbit is a division of Carlamichael Corporation, a technical training and workforce development corporation focused on building practical industries through education, equipment, manufacturing, logistics, and trade.

Founded by Okike Ndu, Carlamichael Corporation was established on a simple belief: students learn best by participating in real projects rather than only studying theory. Our programs connect technical training with actual business operations, allowing students to gain hands-on experience across agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, equipment maintenance, logistics, and distribution.

Learning Through Real Industry

At Carlamichael Corporation, students do not simply learn about equipment, factories, and supply chains. They learn by helping build and operate them.

For example, in agricultural training programs focused on soybeans and other crops, students learn every stage of the production process:

  • Land preparation and site development
  • Operation and maintenance of heavy equipment used for land clearing
  • Tractor operation, ploughing, harrowing, and planting
  • Organic farming methods and crop management
  • Harvesting and post-harvest handling
  • Warehousing and transportation logistics

Students are exposed to the equipment and technologies that modern agricultural businesses depend on, learning both operational and maintenance skills that prepare them for long-term careers.

Training Beyond the Farm

Our work-study model extends beyond crop production into industrial processing and manufacturing. Students learn how agricultural products move from the field into value-added manufacturing processes. Through practical training, they gain exposure to:

  • Equipment sourcing and acquisition
  • Factory planning and development
  • Installation and operation of processing machinery
  • Equipment diagnostics, maintenance, and repair
  • Production management and quality control
  • Packaging, storage, and distribution

This approach helps students understand how raw materials become finished products and how businesses create value throughout the supply chain.

Logistics and Supply Chain Education

Carlamichael Corporation also provides training in transportation and logistics. Students learn how equipment, machinery, and products move through international supply chains, including:

  • Equipment procurement
  • Freight coordination
  • Port logistics
  • Warehouse operations
  • Inventory management
  • Distribution planning
  • Customer delivery systems

By participating in real-world business activities, students gain practical knowledge of how global commerce connects manufacturers, transport providers, distributors, and customers.

Building Workforce Capacity for Africa

Through Carlamichael Work Study School Limited and its affiliated training operations across Africa, we are helping develop the skilled workforce needed to support agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, and trade.

Our goal is to create opportunities for individuals to acquire practical, job-ready skills while contributing to projects that strengthen local production, industrial development, and economic growth.
